Manufacturing leads Taiwan’s workplace harassment cases
The Ministry of Labor in Taiwan reported 1,577 workplace sexual harassment complaints from March to December 2024. Investigations confirmed 949 cases, leading to 127 dismissals. Women filed 88.6% of complaints, with most cases involving hostile harassment. The manufacturing industry had the highest number of cases.
